Chidi Nwaogu

A sophisticated personal website concept for Nigerian tech entrepreneur, ecosystem builder and software engineer Chidi Nwaogu.

Introduction

A founder website built around a long arc: an indie game developer at sixteen who kept building, across platforms, continents and decades. The concept treats a career as a structured body of work rather than a list of roles.

Challenge

A founder with four ventures, a book and a long list of fellowships risks reading as a résumé. The material is dense, spans two decades and pulls in several directions at once: product, ecosystem building, writing and mentorship.

Approach

We sequence the story instead of listing it. A single sentence establishes the position, a journey spine carries the chronology, and each venture gets its own compact record with role, year and outcome. Recognition sits in a quiet index rather than a trophy wall.

Website experience

Typographic, close to monospace in its detail work, with generous margins and a restrained palette. Reading a venture feels like reading a well-set technical document; reading the writing section feels like opening a book.

Selected visual details

Venture records

Each company presented as a dated record - founded, role, focus, status - so the arc is legible in seconds.

Journey spine

A vertical chronology anchored on years, letting two decades read as one continuous line rather than separate chapters.

Writing as an artefact

Dear Entrepreneur treated as a body of work: extract, page count, and an entry point into the letters.

Why this concept matters

Founders with genuinely long track records are usually served worst by the web. This concept shows how a single site can hold ventures, writing and mentorship without flattening any of them.
